Comfortable clothing such as leggings and a t shirt with bare feet or joggers are fine for the first lesson.

Please email admin@tarabecker.com.au school of dance for a price sheet.

Do you offer trials?

Please visit here for information on our introductory period.

Do parents watch?

YES! We have a VIEWING WINDOW for parents to watch through from the waiting area.

If we miss a class do we still pay?

We do not refund fees for missed classes. However we do offer make-up classes where possible.

Where is the TBSOD Annual Concert held?

Illawarra Performing Arts Centre

At what age can my child start dancing?

We have classes from 2yrs and up.

Does my child have to do eisteddfods and concerts?

Eisteddfods are optional, as are concerts, however it is rare that a student doesn’t perform in the concert.

Do I have to pay for a whole term or can I pay weekly? What method do you offer?

We prefer by them term or half term. Under special circumstances we allow weekly. We offer bank transfer (EFT), direct debit, from bank accounts or credit cards and cash where necessary.

Do I need to let you know if my child is absent?

Yes. We appreciate a text message. If we don't hear, we may think the child has lost interest. Class attendance is important so the dancer doesn't fall behind.

Can we enrol in dancing classes after the dancing semester has already started?

Yes – we accept new students throughout the year. Just email us at admin@tarabecker.com.au for an information sheet and timetable.

Does TBSOD break for School Holidays?

Yes – we dance within the NSW Schools Terms, therefore following NSW School holidays and Public Holidays (except our starting week of the year and our finishing week of the year).

Also, our first week back always starts on a Monday (unless it’s a Public Holiday) even if your child’s school has a pupil free day.

How do we re-enrol for the next term?

At TBSOD we have automatic re-enrollment into the following term for ALL current students. This means that we only ask you to inform us if you WILL NOT be returning in the next term. If we do not hear from you, we expect that you wish to return to your current class and therefore your automatic re-enrollment will be completed.
